Vasectomy and Tubectomy are minor surgical procedures done for permanent contraception in males and females in which the tubes carrying the gametes are cut/ ligated. Commonly either of the partners undergoes this procedure.
In some circumstances the patient desire to get pregnant again and might want the procedure to be reverse so as to be fertile again for which microsurgery to connect the tubes is done back at the center. Successful reversal of the surgery mainly depends upon the age of the patient and duration of past surgery.
