Recurrent Miscarriages are when two or more abortions occur in a woman. The causes are mainly genetic defects, infections, abnormalities in the uterus shape, hormonal problems in the mother or certain blood abnormalities, etc. But in many despite investigations, the cause remains unknown.
The patient is thoroughly evaluated at the Prime Centre which includes blood tests, Hysteroscopy, and certain genetic tests. After a diagnosis is made specific treatment is started. Certain women with genetic defects are offered donor programs while those with untreatable uterus abnormalities may be advised for surrogacy.
